A typical three-month caravan rental (including inbound logistics and collection) within 50 miles of our site costs £4080 inc VAT and £360 pm for each additional month after that. The agreement is open-ended, so simply call us when you no longer require the caravan, and we will come and collect it.

Our caravan hire service has two parts:

Logistics:

  • Delivery
  • Positioning
  • Levelling
  • Removal at end of term
  • Total transport costs (which cover both delivery and collection) are typically: £2,500 + VAT – subject to distance and site access

Rental:

  • Monthly rental for use of the unit
  • Our rental fee: £300 per month + VAT

Our static caravan fees explained

Our rental logistics services cover everything required to deliver the caravan to your property, position it, and level it so that your tradespeople can connect the services. Transporting caravans can be a complex process, as they are considered abnormal loads requiring police permits and custom HGVs accompanied by an escort vehicle.

Static caravans can also only be moved on the roads during certain hours of the day. The result of these complexities means the logistics costs are typically (in total outbound and return) £2500 + VAT and are payable in advance.

The rental fee is simply a cost which we apply to cover the depreciation of the value of the static caravan whilst it is on hire. After rental, the unit will return to be part of our sales stock but typically listed at a lower price. After the first 3 months, the rental fee is payable monthly in advance.

Nearly all of our non-central heated sales stock is in our static caravans for hire scheme. We carefully select our caravans for hire range and feature leading brands, spacious models, and caravans ready to site and live in.

Our hire service is great for projects lasting three months to one year as you can hire a much newer and better quality caravan at the same cost as if you were to purchase outright. This, of course, comes with the added benefit of removing the hassle of trying to resell or dispose of the static caravan privately once it is no longer required. Just call us up when you’re done, and we will come and collect the caravan.

Generally, the balance of cost or ‘tipping point’ occurs after one year, when it may be more cost-effective to buy and resell privately once the work is done.

Based in Horsham, West Sussex, our hire service is fairly local. We transport and site within a 50-60-mile radius of our showground. Typically, our customers rent statics from our West Sussex showground to use as affordable temporary accommodation while working on a construction project, in an emergency, or for reasons such as requiring extra space or housing guests.
